On 15th August 2025, during the 79th Independence Day celebrations held at GSA Playground, Mamit, a total of 21 NSS volunteers from Government Mamit College, along with two Programme Officers, actively took part in the event.

The volunteers assisted in medical duty throughout the programme, ensuring the well-being of participants and attendees. They also observed and promoted the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, highlighting the spirit of patriotism and national unity.

The participation of the NSS Unit added value to the celebration by fostering a sense of service, discipline, and commitment to the nation.
