Green Mizoram Day Observation

The NSS Unit of Government Mamit College observed Green Mizoram Day on 11th June 2025 within the college campus. The event was organized to promote environmental awareness and contribute to the afforestation movement in Mizoram.

A total of 13 participants, including five students and eight faculty and non-teaching staff, took part in the programme. The participants actively engaged in the plantation drive, during which 20 saplings were successfully planted in and around the campus.

The event was a step towards creating a greener and cleaner environment and reflected the institution's commitment to ecological sustainability. The NSS Unit extends its gratitude to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement.
