Government Mamit College participated in the Local Immersion Project organized by the Planning and Programme Implementation Department, Government of Mizoram.

• 24 January 2025:
  Two students and one faculty member attended a training programme where they selected Zamuang as their local immersion site.

• 26–28 February 2025:
  A team of twelve students and two faculty members traveled to Zamuang to conduct a field survey as part of the project.

• 27 March 2025:
  The project findings were presented during the Local Immersion Project Pitch Event held at Vanapa Hall, Aizawl. Four students and three faculty members represented Government Mamit College at the event.

• 16 April 2025:
  As part of the efforts to address the issues identified during the local immersion survey, Government Mamit College organized a programme on Financial Literacy and Farming Techniques.
  This activity was conducted under the Entry Point Activity (EPA) funded by the Planning and Programme Implementation Department, Government of Mizoram.
