Government Mamit College undertook its first-stage of **International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) audit**(ISO) 9001:2015 audit online on August 12, 2024. This initial audit was crucial for evaluating the college's compliance with the internationally recognized standards for Quality Management Systems (QMS). The online format allowed for efficient assessment and engagement, ensuring that all relevant documentation and processes were reviewed comprehensively.

Following the successful completion of the first stage, the college proceeded to the second-stage ISO audit, which took place on September 17, 2024. This stage involved a more in-depth examination of the college’s practices, procedures, and overall adherence to the ISO standards. During this audit, the assessors focused on the implementation and effectiveness of the quality management system, as well as the institution’s commitment to continual improvement.
The audit process helped identify areas for improvement and emphasized the institution’s focus on continuous development and stakeholder satisfaction. Achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification would mark an important milestone for Government Mamit College, highlighting its adherence to internationally recognized quality standards in education and management practices.

The audit was led by **Sudipta Jana**, who served as the **Lead Auditor**, with **Amit Ghosh** as the **Auditor** overseeing the detailed assessment of the college's QMS.
