On June 24, 2024, Mizoram University (MZU) announced the CBCS results for the academic year 2023–2024. Notably, Lalawmpuii, a Political Science student from Government Mamit College, achieved an impressive fourth place among Political Science students across Mizoram. 

The overall performance of Government Mamit College was commendable, with a total pass rate of 73.33%, securing the college a ranking of fourth among all colleges in the state. This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of both the students and faculty, highlighting the college's commitment to academic excellence.
