On July 30, 2024, Government Mamit College celebrated its Freshers' Social cum Graduation Day at the Chhim Veng Hall, marking a significant milestone for the outgoing batch of 2023-2024. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Vanlathlana, the Hon’ble Minister of Higher and Technical Education, who served as the Chief Guest, highlighting the importance of academic achievements and community support in fostering educational growth.

The celebration featured the release of the annual magazine, *Hlimthla*, a reflection of the college’s achievements and activities throughout the year. Principal Dr. MS Dawngliana Hnamte had the honor of unveiling this publication, which serves as a testament to the hard work and creativity of the students and faculty alike.

In addition to the magazine, Dr. Vanlathlana also released an edited book titled *Lenhmui*, further emphasizing the college’s commitment to academic excellence and scholarly contributions. This dual release was not only a celebration of past achievements but also an encouragement for students to continue pursuing knowledge and excellence in their future endeavors.
